I completed my undergraduate studies in 1996, earning a Bachelor of Science in Photography with a second major in Communications/Broadcasting from Western Illinois University.
In 1996 I moved back to Chicago to explore possible work in photography and broadcasting. I did freelance photo work for Pioneer Press in the western suburbs of Chicago while also working an internship for an ABC radio station.
With over two years of freelance photography done, I decided to pursue a career in photography. In 1998 I took a digital imaging position with Oscar & Associates, Inc. Photography in Chicago. From this point I found that I was able to work in the post production end of digital photography while leaving time to do my own photography as I pleased.
My most recent work has been featured in various newspaper articles and in two documentary films. Currently I am still working at Oscar & Associates as a Staff Photographer and Digital Imaging Manager.
